Vantage International (Holdings) Limited has been listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 15) since 8 September 2000. We have been undertaking construction business in Hong Kong since the establishment of Able Engineering Company Limited in 1976. The continuous growth of our business enables Vantage to become a well developed and strong listed company.
We are principally engaged in a wide range of contract works for the public and private sectors in Hong Kong. Contract works can be classified into two major categories, namely Building construction and Building maintenance.
Also, we engage in the property investment and development business in Hong Kong. The residential development at 92A-E Pok Fu Lam Road has been completed, while the residential project at No. 9 Belfran Road, Kowloon is still in the development stage. In addition, the development project for the properties at No. 28 Lugard Road, The Peak, and the properties at Nos. 1 & 1A of Wood Road, Wanchai, the properties at Kam Tin, Yuen Long will be commenced in the near future.
In May 2016, we completed the acquisitions of Kam Ying Court property in Ma On Shan and Tin Ma Court property in Wong Tai Sin. The acquisitions further enhanced the our property investment portfolio.
In the recent years, the housing policy remains a prime focus of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the government has been vigorously speeding up the construction of public housing, development of subsidised sale flats and land supply. In 2015/ 2016, we have secured several substantial building construction and maintenance contracts relating to public housing development with an aggregate estimated contract value of approximately HK$5.5 billion.
We will keep a close eye on the land and property market for property development and investment opportunities, in order to diversify our business to face the future challenges.
