The
Group is principally engaged in a wide range of
public and private sectors construction works in
Hong Kong in four major areas, namely.
- Construction of Government,
institutional buildings and public housing;
- Repairs, maintenance,
renovation and fitting out of public housing
and Government and other institutional buildings;
- Civil engineering
construction, which comprises roadworks,
drainage and sewerage works, water supply
works and utilities civil engineering works;
and
- Landslip preventive
and remedial works to slopes and retaining
walls.
Prospects
In the past, the Group was concentrated on building
construction, repair, maintenance, renovation
and fitting out, civil engineering and other
contract works in Hong Kong. While the general
economy and, in particular, the retail and property
markets, in Hong Kong have seen substantial recovery
in the past few months, the market conditions
for construction industry have remained difficult
and highly competitive.
To cope with the difficulties
encountered in the construction business, the
Directors have adopted a prudent strategy in project tendering and management
on the one hand, while, on the other hand, sought
to diversify the Group's business. To tap the
opportunities in the reviving property markets,
the Directors have decided to expand the Group's
principal businesses to cover property development
and investment. |
